The Jordan 6 “UNC,” which was released in March 2022, is yet another colorway from Jordan’s iconic shoe collection that incorporates the Tar Heels’ team uniform colors into its design, and it does not disappoint. The “UNC” colorway is based on the “Carmine” hue of the Jordan 6 from 1991. The shoe’s upper has contrasting white leather overlays on a University Blue synthetic nubuck base. University Blue also gets a neoprene lace veil with black Jumpman branding. The spoiler on the back of the shoe and the tongue have additional baby blue accents. An embroidered “Team Jordan” patch on the heel is inspired by product tags found on the bottom of basketball jerseys.
