Nike SB Dunk Low Stingwater Magic Mushroom

The Stingwater x Nike SB Dunk Low “Magic Mushroom” is a May 2021 collaboration between Daniel Kim’s skate brand and Nike SB on the venerable skate shoe. Fans of Stingwater will easily recognize the inspiration behind the design of the brand’s first-ever Nike SB Dunk colorway: mushrooms. Here, specifically, the red and white-spotted tips of mushrooms appear in an all-over safari-like pattern on the Varsity Red leather panels on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. Tonal leather forms the base of the shoe. A jeweled Swoosh is situated below embroidered “Stingwater” branding on both sides and inverted “Nike” branding on the heel. The phrases “empty your mind” and “please don’t step on me, I’m trying to GROE” appear on the underside of the tongue and on the green insoles, respectively. A hidden zip pocket on the inside of the tongue provides discreet storage and an icy translucent sole a modern look for the venerable skate shoe.
